Overview

Designed as a showcase for the Moonshine Studio Creator Conference. In this WebApp, users complete a personality test and upload their photos to obtain their own virtual avatar identity. On the homepage, users can interact and chat with their avatars. The virtual avatar also answers questions about the live event and accompanies users throughout the entire activity through mission rewards.

My Role
I led the creative ideation and art direction for this project, including conceptualizing the narrative and world-building for the personality test, designing the avatar interaction flow, and AI application strategy.
I utilized AI to design the visual style of the avatars and trained a LoRA to maintain stylistic consistency. I also worked with the team to test the LoRA’s stability and refine the workflow. Finally, I designed the overall visual identity and UI/UX of the WebApp.

Breakdown

01 / 05
The visual style of the avatar. Based on the world-building I established for the personality test, I designed the characters with a 3D game aesthetic featuring a Toon Shader look.

After establishing the character style, I collaborated with a team member to train custom Qwen LoRAs.

We fine-tuned the Qwen and Wan workflows and ensured that user-uploaded photos consistently generated stable and high-quality avatars.

Right: The homepage visual and loop animation. I established the world-building of the personality test within an abandoned sandbox game. Users receive a signal from the game and set out to find the "Object of Creation," which aligns with the theme of the Creator Conference. Consequently, the homepage animation portrays the game map transmitting signals.
